Memory Lane

I invite you to take a stroll with me down this path to recapture simpler
times of our youth.

Our first pictures were sent to me by Joyann, a  Guyanese living in Barbados, wow!!! they certainly jogged my memory and brought to light,
nostalgic moments of my youth.

littlejo.jpg (33168 bytes) Little Joe, my nephew taken with Joyann in Barbados in the 1960's , this does take us back to fond memories when this young man was the apple of his grandfathers eye known to family and close friends as "Boodles" a nickname given to him by his grandfather Joe Joe.

Joe is now married and lives with his wife Jeanette in the USA

This picture goes back to 1968 when I  worked for the airlines. L-R is my dearest friend Joyann (also known as my adopted sister) since she spent much of our youth at our home, then there is Luis, myself and Jesus. The guys were visiting our beautiful island for the first time from Venezuela and spoke no English, my Spanish was put to test and I became the translator for the group, this picture was taken on a tour of the island.

What a pity you cant see my bright green slacks with pink polka dots ( a real favorite of mine)
